About Our Bergen County Vein Clinic

A vein scan is a venous ultrasound which is a non-invasive diagnostic test. Ultrasound gel is applied to the skin and an ultrasound technician will scan both your legs from top to bottom. This test can detect pooling of blood in your extremities, and detect any reduction in blood flow in the lower extremities. The test usually takes about 30 minutes from start to finish.

A vein scan is used to evaluate the circulation in the large veins in the legs. It can detect poor blood flow, and rule out blood clots in the lower extremities.

If you are experiencing leg pain, leg swelling, restless legs, heavy legs, visible bulging veins, or painful varicose veins. A vein scan can be performed to rule out any serious issues due to the symptoms.

A Venous Radiofrequency Ablation can be done either in the office or at an outpatient surgical center.  This is a quick, same day procedure, with little to no downtime.

Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicaid or Medicare for vein treatments.
